The digital stage has made a lot of things easier, including design work. Included is the appreciation of typography or lettering, which is a click of a button you can have access to a whole world of type.

It's funny how the simple and seemingly normal types we see in our streets has become something of a trend, and thanks to designers, we have another level of appreciation to it.

Minority That Work, a Davao-based motion graphics and design studio, noticed these lovely types that blend well and give life to the urban streets of Davao and decided their visual journal called Urban Type of Davao.

Urban Type of Davao aims to showcase the rich and diverse landscape of urban Davao through types. Check out some of their discoveries below.

Sometimes, inspiration just literally just around the corner. If you're thinking of taking that walk in your city, just go. Do what Minority That Work did.

Check their type discoveries at their Facebook page or here at their Instagram account.
